Keystone Food Service to begin serving Erie- Galesburg students for 2024-2025 school year
Our philosophy is simple: we provide food our customers love at a price they can afford. We do this by buying fresh foods in bulk and refusing to cut corners in our preparation. We bake our own chicken, and roll our own enchiladas, ensuring maximum taste and freshness. We don't thaw and reheat. WE COOK, and our customers love the Keystone difference. Erie-Galesburg-Starting August 13, a new menu with fresh, healthy meal options is available at Erie-Galesburg Public Schools for the 2024-2025 school year, thanks to the newly announced partnership between the school district and Keystone Food Service. Keystone Food Service focuses on providing freshly prepared breakfast and lunch options for the students it serves. The Oklahoma-based and family-owned company serves approximately 60,000 students daily and has been selected as the cafeteria vendor for Erie-Galesburg Public Schools. Keystone is the only K12 child nutrition provider operating in Oklahoma that is actually located and based in Oklahoma. "Our goal is to provide healthy meals that kids will eat and enjoy, and we know that variety is key to that," said Josh Sanders, CEO for Keystone Food Service. "We listen to our kids and their parents and are always introducing new foods throughout the school year." Some of the menu options Erie-Galesburg students can expect to see include homemade chicken enchiladas, classic pulled pork sandwiches and freshly made pizzas. Main courses will be accompanied by nutritious offerings like freshly steamed vegetables.
